A lo largo del tiempo, Doris Lessing ha manifestado su posición con respecto a lo considerado estable o establecido, legítimo, de tal modo que sus obras ofrecen sugerentes lecturas con respecto a la representación de la edad, la minusvalía física o psíquica, o la indentidad sexual.
